NPK fertilisers combine nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in one product, so a crop receives all three main nutrients in a single application. FUSHKOV GCG supplies compound NPK fertilisers in standard and specified grades to agricultural buyers internationally on Incoterms 2020 terms.
An NPK grade shows the content of nitrogen (N), phosphorus expressed as P2O5 and potassium expressed as K2O, as a percentage by weight. Balanced grades such as 15-15-15 and 16-16-16 suit a wide range of crops; grades such as 20-10-10 or 10-26-26 are chosen for specific crops and soils. Some grades also contain sulphur or micronutrients.
| Grade (N-P2O5-K2O) | Typical use |
|---|---|
| 15-15-15 | Balanced grade for cereals, maize, vegetables |
| 16-16-16 | Balanced grade, higher nutrient content |
| 20-10-10 | Nitrogen-weighted grade |
| 10-26-26 | Phosphorus and potassium grade for pre-sowing application |
| HS code | 3105 20 (containing N, P and K) |
Reference values for typical commercial grades. The final specification is fixed in the contract; the final classification of a lot is confirmed by the customs declarant.
The grade is selected according to the crop, soil analysis and the planned application programme. Send us the required formula or your agronomic requirements and we will prepare an offer for a suitable grade.
NPK fertilisers are shipped in bulk, in big bags or in 50 kg bags, by sea, rail or multimodal routes.
It shows 16% nitrogen (N), 16% phosphorus expressed as P2O5 and 16% potassium expressed as K2O, as a percentage by weight.
In compound NPK every granule contains all nutrients; a blend is a mixture of granules of different single fertilisers. Compound grades distribute nutrients more evenly.
Mineral or chemical fertilisers containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are classified under HS 3105 20. The final classification of a lot is confirmed by the customs declarant.
