Monoammonium phosphate (MAP) has the highest phosphorus content of the common solid fertilisers. FUSHKOV GCG supplies MAP 11-52-0 and related grades to agricultural buyers internationally on Incoterms 2020 terms.
Monoammonium phosphate, NH4H2PO4, is produced by reacting phosphoric acid with ammonia in a lower ratio than DAP. The standard grade contains 11% nitrogen and 52% phosphorus expressed as P2O5; grades such as 12-52-0 and 10-50-0 are also traded.
| Parameter | Typical value |

MAP is a starter fertiliser for cereals, maize, oilseeds and vegetables and a common component of blended fertilisers. In the soil it is slightly acidic around the granule, which makes it well suited to neutral and alkaline soils and safer near the seed than DAP.
MAP contains more phosphorus (52% against 46%) and less nitrogen (11% against 18%) than DAP. Both are classified under HS heading 3105. See DAP 18-46-0.
MAP is shipped in bulk, in big bags or in 50 kg bags, by sea, rail or multimodal routes.
The grade shows 11% nitrogen (N), 52% phosphorus expressed as P2O5 and no potassium (K2O), as a percentage by weight.
MAP is often preferred on neutral and alkaline soils, when more phosphorus per tonne is needed, and for placement close to the seed.
Ammonium dihydrogenorthophosphate (MAP) is classified under HS 3105 40, not under heading 3103. The final classification of a lot is confirmed by the customs declarant.
